American-Abell Engine and Thresher Company Limited (Toronto, Ont.)
William Needham Whitely, of Springfield, Ohio, who set up the Toronto Reaper and Mower Company in the later 1870's in response to the tariff barriers of the day, was known as "The Reaper King"
