Powell, Ralph Robertson
Ralph Robertson Powell, from Raleigh, North Carolina, was a student in the North Carolina State College School of Textiles (later North Carolina State University College of Textiles) from 1932 to 1936. During his time at North Carolina State College Morrison was involved in a number of extracurricular activities, including the Tompkins Textile Society, the Sigma Tau Sigma fraternity, the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), and boxing.
