The first worship of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church was held in the resource center of the Carl Cozier Elementary School on January 20, 1974. The festival celebration was attended by 116 people. The constitution was adopted, church council elected, and Pastor Clinton called as the first pastor at an organization meeting on May 30, 1974. The Festival Service of Organization was held at the Cozier School on June 2, 1974 and was a celebration involving music, dance and other symbolic acts. There were 103 baptized members, 67 confirmed. Plans and funding for a first unit were completed in 1975, with groundbreaking on November 9. After two years and four months, the first worship in the new building was held Easter Day, 1976, with dedication on May 23. An addition to the building was completed and dedicated on February 27, 1983.
