Blake, Franklin, 1837-1871.
Franklin Blake (1837-1871) was the son of James and Mary Clap Blake, and the brother of James Barnard Blake (1827-1870), mayor of Worcester, Mass. from 1865 to 1870. Franklin was an agent for Augustine Heard and Company of China and Japan during the 1860s. He died in Japan.
