Sales, Ruby, 1948-

Ruby Sales (b. July 8, 1948, Jemison, AL) is an African-American social activist. At 17, she participated in the Selma to Montgomery civil rights marches of 1965. She attended Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA and is a human rights advocate in Washington, D.C. where she founded The SpiritHouse Project.
