Civil War soldier from Prattsburg, Steuben County, New York. Enlisted at Elmira, New York, July 25, 1862 to serve three years and later mustered in as private of Company C of the 107th New York Infantry Regiment. Killed in action May 25,1864 near Dallas, Georgia.
