Desmond Aloysius Beatty was a professional baseball player who played two games for the New York Giants. He played one game at shortstop committing three errors and one game at third base. He played in the Atlantic League in 1913, went on to the American Association in 1915 - 1916 and finished in the Eastern League in 1917.
