Doogan, James P., b. 1914.
James P. Doogan was born in Douglas, Alaska. He was educated at Anchorage Community College and the University of Alaska. A businessman, Doogan served on the Fairbanks City Council for six and one-half years and was elected as a delegate to the Alaska Constitutional Convention in 1955. He later worked for various government agencies and in public relations. Doogan and his family moved to Anchorage in 1964.
