Krenz, Darrell J., 1931-
Krenz (b. July 28th, 1931) served with the 24th Infantry Division during the Korean War.
A "Tiger Survivor," he was taken prisoner of war in 1950 and was held first by the Korean Army and later by the Chinese. He was released from prison in 1953. After the war, he married, raised four children, worked in elevator construction with the Otis Company for thirty-four years, and settled in Madison (Wisconsin).
