Jonathan Evans (1759-1839) was a Philadelphia Quaker and a founder of Westtown Boarding School. He and his wife, Hannah (1765-1829), had seven children . Amoung them were William (1787-1867), Joseph (1789-1871), and Mary (1791-1858), all of whom attended Westtown.
