Patricia Frazer Kerr Lamb (1931- ): writer and teacher, grew up in Los Angeles, CA, attended the University of Utah, married Michael C. Latham, and moved to Tanganyika (now Tanzania) where he worked for the Colonial Medical Service; they had two sons. In 1964, the Lathams returned to the U.S.; several years later, they were divorced. She received a Ph.D. from Boston University in English and now teaches at Westminster College in PA.
Kathryn Joyce Jerrell Hohlwein (1930- ): writer and teacher, grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, received a B.A. from the University of Utah in 1953, and an M.A. in creative writing from Middlebury College in 1954. She married Hans-Juergen Hohlwein, a German painter. They taught in Lebanon and in the Midwest, had three children and were divorced in the late 1960s.
