Hegge, Paul M., 1926-2007,
Hegge (1926-2007) served with the Navy from 1943 to 1945.
He was born in Polk County (Wisconsin) and, at age five, was adopted by the Hegge family in Stoughton. After his service, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the Notre Dame Extension Course to become a draftsman, discovered he was allergic to his drafting materials, and moved to Stoughton where he tended bar and worked the ranger station.
