Engle, Louise.
Dr. Washington A. Engle came to Michigan in 1855. In 1856, he located in Hartford in Van Buren Co. and practiced medicine there until 1900. President Lincoln appointed him Post Master of Hartford. Dr. Engle died on Nov. 20, 1907 at the age of 82.
