Flint, Abel, 1765-1825
Variant namesReverand Abel Flint was the secratary of the Connecticut Missionary Society in Hartford. Reverand Timothy Flint was a missionary for the society in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Missouri and wrote several books one of which was on his experiences as a missionary. Reverand Salmon Giddings also served as a missionary for the society and set up the first Presbyterian church in St. Louis.
