Ramon F. Adams was a Western writer and bibliographer.

Author and collector of Southwestern literature. Born in 1889 in Moscow, Texas, Adams was educated at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, from which he later received an honorary doctorate in literature. He married Allie Jarmon in 1912. Adams authored, edited, and contributed to 30 books on Southwestern subjects including "Burrs Under the Saddle," "Rampaging Herd, " and "Six Guns and Saddle Leather". He died in 1976.
