Author Norma Keating was born in New York City, educated at City College, and lived mainly in New Jersey. She became a journalist, working variously as a reporter, columnist, art critic, and writing advertising copy, and later worked as a publicity director. She wrote several children's books, and published numerous poems and lyrics in periodicals.
