Illyn, Tatiana, 1908-1979.
Tatiana Illyn was born on August 3, 1908, in Vinnitza, Russia, the daughter of Nikolai and Marie Bach. She was educated in Russia as a chemist and taught organic and physical chemistry there. In the 1960s she was employed at the University of Maine, becoming an assistant professor in food science in 1968. Illyn died in November 1979.
