Married Vera Mae Reaume (Derby) Miller (1933). Lived in San Francisco until his death (1936-1966). Active Methodist layman, member of Parkside Church, San Francisco (1936-1966). Worked as research assistant to Northern California-Nevada Methodist Conference historian, Leon L. Loofbourow, author of "In search of God's gold" (1950), a history of Methodism in California, and "Cross in the sunset" (1956), a history of the Northern California-Nevada Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
