Frances Fanny Majendie (nee Griffin)

Frances [Fanny] Griffin was born ca. 1788 in London, the eldest daughter of John Griffin and Mary Guillemard and sister of Jane Griffin, who later became the second wife of the Arctic explorer, John Franklin. In 1831, she married the geologist and mineralogist, Ashurst Majendie.
