McPeak, Carl A. (Carl Austin), 1905-1970.
Carl A. McPeak was an organizer and an official in the Oil Workers' International Union in Oklahoma during the depression. From 1936 to 1956 he held various positions in the CIO including state director for Texas, 1950-1953. After the AFL and CIO merged in 1956 McPeak held various positions with the AFL-CIO.
