Southern Baptist missionary to Jews for the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention from 1921 to 1948, evangelist, and founder of the International Board of Jewish Missions. He was born in Austria, the son of a Jewish rabbi. Graduate of Moody Bible College and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
