The Rev. Gaius Jackson Slosser was a member of "The Western Theological Seminary" in Pittsburgh, PA, and president of the "Upper Ohio Valley Presbyterian Historical Society". Slosser also authored and edited several books including CHRISTIAN UNITY ITS HISTORY AND CHALLENGE IN ALL COMMUNIONS (1929); THEY SEEK A COUNTRY; THE AMERICAN PRESBYTERIANS (1955); and THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION UNDER PRESBYTERIAN AUSPICES (1957).
