Conklyn family of Charles Town, Jefferson County, W. Va. Represented are merchant William H. Conklyn (1808-1867); his son Charles Cassender Conklyn (1839-1926); and Charles's children, including Charles Magnus Conklyn (b. 1869), who, with his brother John P. Conklyn (1871- 1945) worked as an engineer and housing contractor in Charles Town; Eleanor S. Conklyn (b. 1873); and Willetta B. Conklyn (1876-1965).
