Ballard, Clinton
This first draft was never produced with the title The word is love. It was called Sheba when Kaye Ballard starred in it in Chicago in 1974. It was not produced again until August, 2001, when Donna McKechnie appeared in Sheba for four performances at the White Barn Theatre in Westport, Conn. By then Lee Goldsmith was credited with writing the book.
