YES! Expo was a unique collaboration among state agencies, corporations, universities, youth organizations, professional societies, and business development organizations from throughout Michigan. The goal was to inspire middle and high school students to pursue education and careers in science and engineering. In a hands-on setting, corporate exhibitors exposed students to exciting science and engineering careers. Universities and community colleges showcased the educational pathways to these careers and demonstrated the excitement of studying science and engineering. Special technology-based displays and exhibits fascinated students about the world of science and engineering. A high-energy live/multimedia show was performed several times during the day that highlighted exciting technologies.
