Newton, J. Emmette, Mrs.
On October 14, 1891 the Eight-Mile Baptist Mission was organized by Walnut Street Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky. In 1920 that mission closed, and Oct. 3, 1920, a Sunday School was begun at Lyndon, Ky., to continue the work. Feb. 27, 1927, the Lyndon Baptist Church was organized from the Sunday School.
