Sharpe, Joseph Kinne, 1853-1920

A native and resident of Indianapolis, Sharpe became an inventor of agricultural machinery and was associated with the Indiana Manufacturing Company. About 1915 he developed the "grain-saving wind stacker," which became the company's main product. The company, with Sharpe as president, was in debt to Theophilus King of Boston. Upon Sharpe's death, King sued his estate, ending the company in 1923.
