Deseret Gymnasium (Salt Lake City : 1965-1997)
The Deseret Gymnasium was built in 1910 under the auspices of the Church to promote physical education. Bryant S. Hinckley served as executive secretary of the gym, 1910-1935. The original gymnasium was torn down in 1961 and replaced by a new structure in 1964.
