Pohlman, Henry Newman, 1800-1874.

Pohlman was born in Albany, N.Y., the son of Daniel and Mary Pohlman. He attended Hartwick Seminary and received a license to preach from the Lutheran Synod of New York in 1821. He served as a minister of various churches in northern New Jersey, serving for twenty one years as the minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Zion Church, New Germantown, N.J. In 1843 he relocated to the Ebenezer Church in Albany, N.Y., where he served until 1867. Pohlman died at Albany in 1874.
