Biographical note: Journalist; Bernice Cosulich was a reporter for the Arizona Daily Star from 1922 to 1948, and worked as a special correspondent for the New York Times, and Life, Time and Fortune magazines. She covered the state legislature from 1941 to 1946, and participated in a study of the Colorado River which led to the 1944 Colorado River Compact concerning water allocations. Her book, entitled Tucson, contains stories of pioneers and historic sites.
