North Carolina State University. Dept. of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology.
An interdepartmental program in Toxicology has existed at NC State since 1964, through a National Institute of Health Program grant that was continuously funded for 32 years. In 1979, the first graduate degrees were awarded (Master of Toxicology, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy). In 1989, the Department of Toxicology was established and in 2001 the department was relocated to the Toxicology Building on Centennial Campus.
