Eise, Ida Gertrude, 1894-1978.
Ida Eise, Auckland painter, taught at Elam School of Art and was a prominent member of the Auckland Society of Arts. She was strongly influenced by the ideas of John Weeks, 1888-1965, painter and art teacher, much of whose work was destroyed in a fire at Elam School of Art in 1949.
