The All-College Educational Research Committee, later known as the All-University Research Committee, was established to investigate questions dealing with educational policy.

The Committee was composed of representatives from several schools with counterparts in departments, divisions, and schools in order for more participation by faculty members. Recommendations of the committee approved by the faculty were put into effect. The committee also investigated counseling services with a view to reorganize with reduced costs and the class size and teaching loads of faculty.
