Miller, A. W. (Andrew William)
Variant namesA.W. Miller was a resident of Portland, Oregon, and a frequent contributor to the local newspaper and other publications; he is belived to be the same Col. A.W. Miller who was a charter member of the Oregon State Academy of Sciences (founded in 1905), and the geologist responsible for exhibitions featuring Oregon's mineral resources shown at many of the world's fairs and exhibitions of the 1890s and 1900s around the United States (Mining: Journal of the Northwest Mining Association, July 1901, p. 69).
