Newton, Frank Thomas, 1867-1931.
Frank T. Newton was born in Washtenaw County, Michigan on September 30, 1867. He taught school for a period, then as a salesman and manufacturing businessman in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He was county sheriff, 1905-1907, and then was twice elected as a Republican .to the Michigan State Senate, 1909-1910 and 1911-1912.
