The Faculty Senate was an advisory group to the Seattle University administration on faculty and academic matters. It was established by President John Fitterer, SJ in September 1966, with the approval of the Board of Trustees. This initiative was in response to national trends in higher education which advocated for a model of shared university governance. This collection documents the work of the Seattle University Faculty Senate from 1966 through 2002.
