Walsh, Emmet M. (Emmet Michael), 1892-1968
Variant namesEmmet Michael Walsh (b. Mar. 6, 1892, Beaufort, S.C.-d. Mar. 9, 1968), Roman Catholic priest, was ordained in 1916. He was consecrated as Bishop of Charleston, S.C. in 1927. He transferred to the post of Coadjutor Bishop of Youngstown in 1949 and then succeeded as Bishop of Youngstown in 1952.
