Wider Quaker Fellowship (Philadelphia, Pa.)
Founded in 1936; the concept and the term "Wider Quaker Fellowship" originated with Rufus M. Jones of Haverford College; organized to make it possible for persons to be associated with the social and spiritual testimonies of the Religious Society of Friends while still maintaining another (or no) religious affiliation; founded under the auspices of the American Friends Fellowship Council, later a program of the Friends World Committee for Consultation, Section of the Americas; headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa.
