Merrill, H.F. (Henry Ferdinand), 1853-1935.
Merrill (A.B. 1874) joined the Chinese Customs Service, serving first in Korea and later as Commissioner in China. Hart was the Inspector-General of the Chinese Martime Customs (1863-1907). Aglen succeeded Hart in his position (1907-1928).
