Hyde, Abel, b. 1767
Abel Hyde was born in Lebanon, Connecticut, on May 8, 1767, the son of Captain Eliphalet Hyde and Naoma Flint. He and his wife Chloe (d. 1799) lived in Franklin, Connecticut, where he worked as a wheelwright. They had two daughters: Sarah (b. 1795) and Chloe Melinda (b. 1798).
