Ford Motor Company. Purchasing Department.
In addition to purchasing production and manufacturing materials for Ford Motor Company's operations across the United States and worldwide, Purchasing Department staff were tasked with managing purchasing for many non-automotive-related activities. In some instances, staff were responsible for service, repair and maintenance materials for Henry Ford's personal properties including farms in Michigan and Georgia, the Ford Village Industries, and Fair Lane, his Dearborn, Michigan estate.
