Appledorf, Howard.
Howard Appledorf served on the faculty of the Dept. of Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida from 1969 until 1983. Appledorf is best remembered as a national spokesperson for the Institute of Food Technologists and his controversial views on the nutritional value of so-called "junk foods."
