Harry, Charles M.
During World War I, Charles M. Harry served with the U.S. Army Signal Corps, after receiving training at the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas (later Texas A & M University) and Yale University. Following the war, Harry attended the Michigan College of Mines at Houghton, Michigan graduating with a M.S. degree in 1921. At some point he was involved with the Montreal Mining Company, an iron mining operation near Hurley, Wisconsin. Harry later went on to join the faculty at Michigan College of Mining and Technology (formerly Michigan College of Mines) in 1946 until his retirement in 1961.
