Hallowell, Susan Morris, 1845-
Variant namesAnna Hallowell, daughter of Philadelphia merchant and banker Morris Longstreth Hallowell, was active in philanthropic and educational work. She was the first woman member of the Philadelphia Board of Public Education, 1887-1896.
