The Brigham Young University Salt Lake Center for Continuing Education was established in 1959 and was housed in the McCune Mansion. In 1972 the Center was moved to the former Veterans Hospital facility at 401 Twelfth Avenue. The Center offers a wide variety of college courses each semester to any individual agreeing to abide by the policies and procedures as published on its website and bulletins. Most courses meet only once or twice a week in the late afternoon and evening. Class sizes are small averaging 10-15 students per class. The Center currently resides at 3760 South Highland Drive in Salt Lake.
