Before 1969 he had been a technical advisor to the Illinois Departments of Public Health and Aeronautics and attorney for the city of Springfield (Sangamon County). Member of House Executive Committee (1969-1974); House Affairs Committee (1971-1974); Higher Education Committee (1969-1970); and of the Transportation Committee (co-spokesman, 1973-1974). Also member of Council on the Diagnosis and Evaluation of Criminal Defendants (1971-1972); Legislative Space Needs Commission (1975-1976); Special Events Commission (1969-1970; 1973-1974); Motor Vehicles Commission (chairman, 1975-1976); and Capitol City Planning Commission. Elected Circuit Judge from 7th district in 1976. Appointed Appellate Judge from 4th district in 1981. Disabled veteran and graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law. Lifelong resident of Springfield, Illinois. Married Marilyn Brust. Lawyer with firm of Londrigan and Londrigan in Springfield.
