Hiatt, Eli
Before the Civil War there were several members of the Hiatt family in Randolph County, Indiana. Most of them appear to have been Quakers. Nathan Hiatt lived in Farmland, Indiana before enlisting in the Union Army on 2 August 1862. He mustered into the 84th Indiana Infantry on 2 August 1862. He was killed in action during the Battle of Chickamauga on 20 September 1863.
