Bastian, Friedrich.
Friedrich Bastian was a Pennsylvania German dyer. In 1804 he moved from Jonestown in Lebanon County, Pa. to Middletown in Dauphin County, Pa. After Bastian ceased to use the volumes, they may have been used by Jacob Strouss and Solomon Strouss, carpenters and coffin makers.
