Hussey family.
Irish loyalists who came to France in the 18th century to serve the French king, the Hussey family integrated themselves into the French nobility through military service, commercial activities, marriage, and the purchase of lands. Miles Hussey, the patriarch, died during the Revolution; his son was an emigre.
