Young's works are represented in the permanent collections of The Baltimore Museum of Art, The George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film, Museum of Modern Art, and the Yale University Art Gallery. Dr. Young also photographed several exhibitions that she had personal connections with. Installations shots include the exhibition Recent Works by Lowell Nesbitt (1969 Jan 14-Feb 23) and Timberlane: The Wurtzburger Sculpture Collection, with Photographs by Barbara Young (1977 June 12 -Aug 7) both at the BMA.
